    When someone says, “I meditate”, know that they don’t really meditate, because meditation only happens when the ‘I’ is not there. The ego is made up of past recollections and blocks our direct contact with God in the present. In our contact with the Omnipresence of God we can also be distracted by hopes or fears of the future and excitements or stresses of the present. When we surrender all these inner activities at God’s feet, meditation is possible because then God, by Divine Grace, can now enter, act and dance within us.
    Prayer is when we speak to God. Meditation is when God speaks to us.
    To hear we must be quiet and listen.
